Changing the style of an object using Options>Line/Region/Symbol style doesn't have any effect.
Question:
When changing the style of an object using Options>Line/Region/Symbol style, the changes do not take effect, why?
Answer:
Be sure that they layer that you are trying to change the style on is editable in layer control and be sure that there is no style override on that layer.
To have all of the styles changed for a layer and have a certain few different from the rest, the best way to accomplish this is as follows:
1. Turn off the Style Override.
2. Make the layer editable.
3. Select each object to change and choose Options>Line/Region/Symbol style and change the style for these objects.
4. Once the individual changes are done, select them all, then choose the invert select tool and this will choose everything else. Then, choose Options> Line/Region/Symbol style to change all the rest of the styles.
