Question:
How should MapXtreme 2.02 be un-installed?

Answer:
1. Go into services and stop the MapXBroker and HAHT site 3.1 Administrator services if present and running.

2. Use Add/Remove Programs to un-install: - HAHT site Application Server
- HAHT site IDE
- MapInfo Base Map Data
- MapXtreme Projects (ASP and/or HAHT site)
- MapXtreme Server
- MXT MapInfo OCX's

When prompted to remove shared files, choose "Yes".

3. Delete the following folders of the hard drive:
- \HAHT site
- \Program Files\MapInfo\MapXtreme
- If no other MapInfo software is installed, also delete
- \Program Files\Common Files\MapInfo Shared
Note: These directories are the default directories.

4. Delete the following Registry entries:
\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HAHTSite.*
\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MapX.*.*
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HAHT Software, Inc.
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MapInfo\MapXtreme Projects
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MapInfo\MapXtreme Server
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HAHT Software, Inc.
\HKEY_USER\****-****-****\Software\HAHT Software, Inc.

5. Reboot then re-install if desired.
