Is it required with MapXtreme Java 4.8 to install the unicode TrueType font sets on operating systems other than Windows?
Answer:
This is no longer required. The fonts are now loaded from the "\MapXtreme-4.8.0\lib\common\mifonts.jar" at runtime. However, the fonts can still be installed if needed by following the step-by-step directions listed in the MapXtreme Java 4.8 Developer Guide.
