Summary:
Problems when installing due to missing Install Scripts.

Question:
Some MapInfo software is now distributed using the Windows Installer, Microsoft's new standard mechanism for software installation. The Windows Installer is built in to Windows 2000/XP but must be installed separately for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95/98.

If errors are encountered during installation such as "missing isscript.msi" or any other error regarding the Windows Installer, msiexec.exe, instmsiw.exe, instmsia.exe, or isscript.msi, it is possible to manually download and install the necessary components, then rerun the product installation.

Note: Running the Windows Installer setup may require a reboot of the computer.
