Summary:
Failed opening registry entries when trying to load findad32.mbx.

Question:
An error is produced "Failed opening registry entries.." when trying to load findad32.mbx.

What would cause this problem?

Answer:
This error is a permission's related error where the user does not have the necessary access to the following folders and subfolders:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MapInfo\MapInfo
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MapInfo\MapMarker

Have an IT Admin set permission's on those folders and subfolders to give the user full control.

In addition to permission issues that customers may have, MapMarker version 23 had a problem with the initial version of the tool that was shipped with the product.
