Is it possible to place the MapInfo Professional icon on the desktop?
Answer:
Create a shortcut pointing to the MapInfow.exe:
1. Right Click on the Start menu.
2. Go into the programs folder.
3. Find the MapInfo folder.
4. In the MapInfo folder, click once on the MapInfo Professional icon.
5. Choose File>Create Shortcut.
6. Drag the shortcut to the desktop.
