Question:
After installing StreetPro 4.1 EAL, County Tile, the "Layer Options" dialog is displaying duplicates (and triplicates or more) of several layers:
This was duplicated on more than one machine and with multiple geographies with Autoloader version is 20001.0. Is this intentional or a bug?
Answer:
This is a working as designed. With the new 4.1 templates, MapInfo is regularly making use of the technique of displaying the same layer multiple times to create different effects at different zooms.
For example, it may be desired to display primary highways from 0-2 miles with a 6 point red line. At 2-200 miles, the lines may display as an interleaved line.
