How can TargetPro user's edit the shields found on the major Roads layer now?

Answer:
method 1:
create a folder somewhere called shield manager and unzip all files in to it…then use tools>tool manager to add the shield manager mbx and set it to load and autoload.
then put the highway layer in question (i.e. major roads) in a new mapper.
go to tools>shield manager>create new layer and name the new shields layer. it will be added to the mapper -
make new shields layer editable.
make sure mapper is at desired zoom and centered appropriately so highways of interest are showing…
Turn on labels on shields layer - you can double-click to make sure label style is white, century gothic, 9 pt and bold and centered
to add shields:
Use the tool to add shields, selecting one of the route number candidates and you should see the nice blue/red shields with white labels….
To delete shields:
select the delete button ("eraser") and click on center of shield - turn snap on to help (letter "S")….
save table when done and add to original mapper and save project….

method 2:
make a copy of the shields table she changed the zoom display on, close the original and open the copy and
make it editable - then use marquee select to select the whole shield you want to remove and hit delete
