How can one shade Block Groups by their Cluster assignment?
How can one create a table of BG ID's and cluster codes?
Answer:
There isn’t really a way to display all the Geographies by dominate cluster code in AnySite with the standard thematic. However there is a way to do it….
Open the segmentation tool and select a profile:
Then in AnySite you will see the thematic your looking for - click on Show thematics and you will see under shades a new entry for your Cluster thematic -
Here we see "PSYTE US Clusters" - click on it to shade the BG's in the map view.
You can save the layer using the Save >> Layer :
But this takes some time –
Easier way is to open the map in MapInfo – using the MI button
Then saving the thematic layer to a table
Then each BG is saved with the cluster number and this can be re-imported in to AS if desired.
