Summary:
AnySite and editing locations of Points in Location Layers

Question:
If a user has imported a table of points in to AnySite, how can they
1) move a point to a different location?
2) add a new point?
3) delete a point?

Answer:
First, the table in question MUST have the ID field set to a field in the table of points with unique values.
This is done in the configurator - select the table and go to edit>address and set the field for the ID field:

Click OK thru the dialogs and go back to the AnySite Mapper.

Go to Layer control>edit layer properties and make sure your point layer is below the 3 AnySite-Edit layers:
(use the up and down controls to change the order)

Click OK but make sure you save the changes to a map configuration - otherwise when you use Map>refresh>all, your point layer will be removed from the mapper!

Now go to Map>modify location layer and right-click on your layer, which should appear in the left hand pane, and choose edit:

1) To move a point, simply left-click and drag the point to the desired location and then right-click on the layer in left hand pane marked with "editing"
and choose "save changes".

2) To add a new point, select the add records by clicking or by address -
clicking allows you to simply click on the map where you wish the new point to go.
address allows you to enter an address for the desired location of the point

after either choice, make sure you save changes as in step 1.

3) To delete a point, simply select the point and hit the delete key and then save changes.
