Question:
Customer creates site based on a point from a custom store layer
Customer then creates rings for 1, 3, 5 mile radius.
Goes to run 2010 Total Households Thematic and gets error Cannot open database ‘STMIEST’ at geolevel ‘BG’ .
Answer:
This error was caused by the customer using an invalid ASDE path setting ...
We went to ASDE settings and found a peculiar path for the Data Directory
- \\MYDRIVE_SERVER\MYDRIVE\USERS\Username\anysite_files\jobs\
We then switched the ASDE Data Directory path to the location where AnySite was installed
- C:\Program Files\MapInfo\AnySite_US\Data\ASDE
After setting the Data Directory path in the AnySite Configurator, the customer is able to run the thematic properly.
